Konfigurasi VLAN dan VTP

Ini adalah konfigurasi dasar VLAN dan Virtual Trunking Protocol (VTP).

Pada posting kali i ni akan dibahas :

1. Konfigurasi Switch sebagai VTP Server

2. Mengkoneksikan 4 switch lainnya dan menkonfigurasinya sebaga VTP client. Semua link

antar Switch harus dikonfigurasi sebagai trunk link

3. Konfigurasi VTP domain dengan nama MYDOMAIN dan VTP password dengan cisco

4. Konfigurasi VLAN 10 dengan nama “MAHASISWA” dan VLAN 50 dengan nama

„SERVER”

5. Uji propagasi pada semua switch dari domain VTP.

Kita mulai konfigurasi pada Switch yang akan dijadikan server!

Switch VTP-Server

Masuk ke mode priviledge : VTP-SERVER>enable

Global configuration VTP-SERVER#conf t

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

VTP-Server(config)#line con 0

VTP-Server(config-line)#password cisco

VTP-Server(config-line)#login

VTP-Server(config-line)#exit

VTP-Server(config)#line vty 0 4

VTP-Server(config-line)#password cisco

VTP-Server(config-line)#login

VTP-Server(config-line)#exit

VTP-Server(config)#enable secret cisco

Konfigurasi VTP VTP-Server(config)#vtp mode server

Device mode already VTP SERVER.

VTP-Server(config)#vtp domain MYDOMAIN

Changing VTP domain name from NULL to MYDOMAIN

VTP-Server(config)#vtp password cisco

Setting device VLAN database password to cisco

Konfigurasi VLAN VTP-Server(config)#vlan 10

VTP-Server(config-vlan)#name MAHASISWA

VTP-Server(config)#vlan 50

VTP-Server(config-vlan)#name SERVER

VTP-Server(config-vlan)#exit
