Bachelor of Nursing Science (Hons), offered by Lincoln University College, will help the students to acquire, theoretical as well as practical

knowledge, regarding the diverse aspects of nursing and nursing practice. Nursing is a healthcare profession that equipped students to care

of individuals, families and communities so they attain or recover optimal health and a healthy life. Our program of study includes both

theoretical learning and practical training sessions in a large variety of specialities. Our experienced teaching faculty emphasizes on the

enhancement of advanced clinical skills as well as essential nursing skills. The value of the course is an immense and it is job orienting in

nature. Thus our program of study, will prepare the students for a professional career in nursing.

The aim of the undergraduate nursing program is to:

Train graduates having the responsibilities as professional, competent nurses in primitive,

preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.

Prepare graduates who can take independent decisions in emergency situations and condently

engage in nursing practice that encompass values, ethical, moral and legal aspects of nursing.

Prepare graduates who can Integrate research ndings and nursing theories and able to work

independently and collaboratively with other health professions as an advanced beginner

professional nurse

Minimum Duration : 48 Months | Maximum Duration : 48 Months

1. September.

i) Pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.

For students in the Arts stream, it is necessary to obtain credit in Mathematics and Science at the

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level; or

ii) Pass in Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; or

iii) Pass in Foundation program with a minimum CGPA of 3.00

Additional Qualification (Malaysian Students):

i) Pass in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Additional Qualifications (International Students):

i) Pass in lnternational English Language Testing Services (IELTS) with a minimum

score of 5.5; or

ii) Pass in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) examination with a minimumof 550.

Health status:

a. Students must pass a medical examination by a registered medical officer recognized by

the institution.

b. Free from infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, mental health problems,

epilepsy and other chronic diseases.

c. No physical disabilities and sensory problems that can interfere with manual efficiency.
