Its mission is to train and educate corporate role-players comprising directors, company secretaries, the management and employees of companies, auditors, entrepreneurs, innovators and members of the professional bodies. COMTRACs new Business Plan entails the periodical organization of Corporate Tea Talks to inculcate knowledge and awareness, promote deliberations amongst the stakeholders and explore new boundaries in related corporate topics. The Corporate Tea Talk is organized free-of-charge and is open for interested members of the public to attend. This programme is also part of SSMs corporate responsibility . ABOUT THE TOPIC The Panel of speakers will explain the key provisions of the relevant legislation administered by SSM relating to companies, businesses well as the newly promulgated legislation known as the Limited Liability Partnership 2011. With understanding on the relevant provisions of the Companies Act 1965, Registration of Businesses 1956 and Limited Liability Partnership Act 2011, participants will learn the options available in deciding the best vehicle to do business and will be able to make appropriate decision on how to carry on their businesses effectively and responsibly. LEARNING OUTCOME Participants will understand the basic legal requirement of Companies Act 1965, Registration of Business Act 1956 & Limited Liability Partnership 2011 Understand Incorporation of companies, registration of businesses & Limited Liability Partnership until termination process. Participants will be able to decide the best business vehicle suite their needs & requirements ABOUT THE SPEAKERS: 1. Hajah Nor Azimah Abdul Aziz Azimah Abdul Aziz is the Director of Corporate Development and Policy Division since 1 September 2010. She was responsible for regulatory research, statistics, corporate planning for SSM. Formerly she was appointed as the Director of COMTRAC in April 2007. 2. Ezatul Zuria Ahmad Azahari Ezatul Zuria Ahmad Azhari is an Executive at the Law Reform, Policy and International Affairs Section under the Corporate Development and Policy Division, SSM. She is mainly involved in reviewing the law administered by SSM and conducting legal research, particularly in businesses and firms. 3. Norhaiza Jemon Norhaiza Jemon is the Heads of Law Reform, Policy and International Affairs Section of Corporate Development & Policy Division. Her portfolio includes managing the law reform initiatives undertaken by SSM including the review of the Companies Act 1965, the Registration of Businesses Act 1956 and the introduction of the Limited Liability Partnerships Bill.
