Objectives

In the global competitive customer-centric scenario, the

field of Mechanical Engineering is advancing at a rapid

pace. New Technologies and their applications are

emerging in the areas of Thermal, Automobile,

Manufacturing, Innovative Design and Manufacturing

management. The challenges faced by today‟s Engineers

are forcing them to keep abreast with emergent trends

through continuous research and development.

ICAME 2014

International conference on Advancements in Mechanical

Engineering (ICAME) 2014 is intended to provide a

common platform to bring together researchers, engineers,

scientists and scholars to exchange and share their

experiences, new ideas, and research results about all

aspects of Mechanical Engineering, and discuss the

practical challenges encountered and the solutions

adopted. Original papers/Articles/Case studies related to

any topic of Mechanical Engineering will be accepted after

review by experts. The conference will include invited

lectures by eminent people in the field of Mechanical

Engineering besides technical papers presentations.

Proceedings

The proceedings of the Conference will be published in

two forms: printed (abstract only) and digital format. Both

form of the Proceedings will be available to the delegates

at the time of registration. The author (at least one) must

register for participation in the conference. The selected

papers will be published in Al-Falah‟s Journal of Science

and Technology namely Global Sci-Tech.

Sponsorship

Organizations are invited to sponsor the conference. The

Sponsorship fee will be Rs.15000 for sponsors & Rs.10000

for co-sponsors the sponsors will be allowed three

delegates and co-sponsors with two delegates, to the

conference.

About the University

The Al-Falah University (formerly Al-Falah School of

Engineering & Technology) aims to achieve technological

excellence through innovation. The Institution was

established in 1997 with a goal to provide quality technical

education to the engineering students as an affiliated

college, which grew into a NAAC accredited „A‟ Grade

college and now a University

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, established in

1997, is currently running two UG programmes in

Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical & Automation

Engineering, and three PG programmes viz. M. Tech in

Machine Design, Manufacturing and Automation

Engineering and Thermal Engineering. It has facilities for

research leading to PhD in specialized areas. The

department also undertakes industrial projects and

consultancies.

Location

The University is located in serene environment near

village Dhauj in Faridabad which is about 20 Kms from

Delhi (Badarpur Border). University‟s bus facility is

available from all main locations.

Stay

The University may make the arrangements on prior

request and payments. Limited accommodation is

available in campus hostel on first come first serve basis

on nominal charges. The Delegates may make their own

arrangements for stay in Delhi/Faridabad.

Authors are requested to send their abstract, full length

paper to ncame@afset.org the papers should be limited to

2500 words. The format of the paper will be conveyed

with the acceptance of the paper.
