01. FNBE EXPERIENCING NATURE - INTRODUCTION

This is a trademark trip for the Foundation of Natural and Build Environment where

the students will be experiencing the “natural environment”. This trip is also part of

the school initiative to provide First Year Experience where the students will be able

get to know their classmates and their lecturers through the activities that are

planned for the students and the lecturers. During this trip the students will be given a

task related the ENBE subjects which they will need to do at site as part of their

Project One.

04. Reminder For Students

1. Please pay RM275 on Monday 29th FEB 2015 by CASH. *To Leaders

2. Please fill in the indemnity form and submit it as soon as possible to your group

leader. (Leader will then give > to Ms Delliya)

3. Please inform your parents/guardian that you are going to this trip. Please

print or email a copy of this document to your parents or guardian. Any

emergency call Ms Delliya at 017 265 1014.

4. If you can’t attend this trip please call Ms Delliya and submit a letter from

parents. We will then have to ask you to visit another site.

5. We recommend you to wear tracksuit /long sport pants or tights and PROPER

t-shirts to avoid any injuries or insect bites etc. If you insist on wearing shorts or

singlet it is at your own risk.

6. Please wear proper attire to enter the forest area and follow the safety

instructions.

7. Please read the brief before going to this trip.

05. Check List of Things to bring:

Personal Stuff;

1. Towel and Toiletries

2. Flip flop (selipar jepun) to go to the toilet etc

3. Suitable attire to bath in the swimming pool.

4. Socks and suitable sport shoes or even boots

5. 3-4 set of sport attire.

6. Suitable attire for Performance night and night tutorial.

7. Suitable pajamas

8. Do bring mosquito repellent and other medicine if you require it.

9. Sun glasses, hat, sun lotion, and hand fan.

10. Biscuits, choc bar, and water just in case you get hungry- supper is not

provided.

11. Bag for dirty cloths.

12. Eye mask (for sleeping)

1. A4 Sketch book

2. A4 or A5 note book / note pad

3. 30-50 sheets of A4 blank loose A4 papers – for the scrapbook journal

assignment.

4. Stationeries ( pen, pencil, blade, ruler, colours, uhu glue etc)

5. Measuring tape

6. A roll of string

7. A roll of masking tape

8. A3 Butter paper (booklet)

9. Clip Board (A4 or A3 size – get at Daiso)

10. Binoculars + Minifying glass (if you have) – for bird watching

11. Cameras & video cam + memory card + charger

12. Plastic and casing to collect samples etc.

13. Mat or flip chair to sit (and even flip table) if you have.

14. Torch light
