!et us e"amine the prophesies of the writer who claimed himself to be a prophet #nabi$ and the%romised Messiah #al-Masih al-Maw'oud $. If a sin&le prophecy is not fulfilled, it would show

their fre(uency villa&es will be destroyed. After them will follow severe earth(ua*es'.

+e did not specify where and when. If it was to be in India, there are some re&ionswhich receive a lot of rain and there are other areas which feel earth(ua*es. This is not a

Abdullah Atham would die within fifteen months, that is, 4eptember 3, -/5. Ghulam

$.  "arria#e to "uhammadi %e#um

Ghulam Ahmad at a&e 5; had a crush on a youn& lady by the name of Muhammadi<e&um dau&hter of Ahmad <e&, one of his followers. Ghulam as*ed her father to marryher to himself which he refused. Ghulam Ahmad announced a prophecy that she will be

married to him because Allah had married her to him and no one had power to turn away

from that becomin& true. +e offered bribes of estate and wealth to Ahmad <e&. =hen itdid not wor* he be&&ed for his pity, brou&ht family pressure and finally made threats.

The first prophecy of marria&e to Muhammadi <e&um failed.

Ahmad <e& did not bud&e from his position and married his dau&hter to an ordinary

soldier. Ghulam Ahmad prophesied that the husband of Muhammadi <e&um would diesoon and she would be married to him since their marria&e had ta*en place in the

heavens. +e fi"ed a three year period for the death of the soldier husband of his belovedlady. Twenty two years later Ghulam Ahmad died but the soldier lived for another forty

years and she lived even lon&er. The second prophecy of marria&e to Muhammadi<e&um failed.

&.  A spark of the li#ht of God

A son was born to Ghulam Ahmad on 2une -5, -// when he was 3/ years old. +e &ave

him the name, Mubara* Ahmad and declared, 'this lad is indeed a spar* of the li&ht ofGod, the promised reformer, the owner of &reatness and authority, possessor of healin&

breath li*e the Messiah, curer of diseases, a word of God and luc*y. +e will become

famous in the four corners of the world, he will set prisoners free and throu&h him allnations will be blessed.'

Allah had +is plan to prove once a&ain that Ghulam Ahmad was neither a prophet nor

'the %romised Messiah' by showin& that +e did not reveal anythin& to him nor inspired

him with anythin& nor chose him a prophet nor divinely &uided him #Mehdi$. Mubara*Ahmad died of natural causes at a&e in -/>, less than a year before the death of the

false prophet and the false messiah.

'.  (he birth of another son

=hen Ghulam Ahmads wife became pre&nant, he announced on 2anuary -, -/0,'%raise be to Allah =ho bestowed upon me in spite of old a&e four sons and has &iven

me &ood news of a fifth'. 7n 2anuary 9, -/0 his wife delivered a dau&hter who died

in infancy. This was first failed prophecy of a son.

+is wife became pre&nant a&ain and he prophesied that she will deliver a son aboutwhom he said, 'the son of nobility will be born ? a lad &oodly?shaped and handsome.'

4he delivered a baby &irl on 2une 95, -/5. This was the second failed prophecy of a

son.

).  A#ain a son

After two disappointments and provin& himself to be a false prophet, he announceda&ain that Allah had &iven him the news, '@erily, =e &ive you tidin&s of a mee* boy.'+e announced the date of the birth of the boy to be 4eptember -;, -/> which was

never fulfilled. This was the third false prophecy of a son.

In 7ctober -/> he pronounced yet another revelation from Allah, 'I shall soon bestow

upon you a ri&hteous boy' and his name was announced to be ahya. Alas, the prophesied son never came and the false prophet Ghulam Ahmad himself died on May

9;, -/. This was the fourth false prophecy of a son.

*.  A son to one of his follo+ers

Manzoor Muhammad, one of his followers, informed him that his wife was pre&nant.Ghulam Ahmad prophesied cautiously in sta&es that Manzoors wife will deliver a boy

from this pre&nancy or from a later pre&nancy and childs name will be '<ashir?ud?

)awla'. After such safe&uards in his prophecy he emphasized, 'Manzoor Muhammads

wife shall not die unless she &ives birth to this noble son and until his prophecy isfulfilled.'

Manzoor Muhammads wife delivered a baby &irl and afterwards she never conceived

and died without &ivin& a boy. )oesnt it loo* li*e Ghulam Ahmad was wor*in& a&ainstAllahs =illB

,.  (he pla#ue

Ghulam Ahmad feared pla&ue very much and declared it to be one of his si&ns. +e

prophesied that the epidemic then rava&in& in the Indian %rovince of %un6ab will not

enter his town of Qadiyan because it was the dwellin& place of 'Gods prophet.' God proved him a liar a&ain. %la&ue spread in Qadiyan and in Ghulam Ahmads own house1

his maid and a few of his followers died of pla&ue.

1.  (he death of r. Abdul /akim

)r. Abdul +a*im entered into a discussion with Ghulam Ahmad, challen&ed him to an opendebate and called him a liar. Ghulam Ahmad did not ta*e it very well and prophesied, 'Abdul

+a*im will die durin& my life?time as he insults and dis&races me.' 7n May 5, -/> )r. Abdul

+a*im responded with his own prediction that Ghulam Ahmad will die within fifteen months,

that was by Au&ust 5, -/. Ghulam Ahmad responded to )r. Abdul +a*ims prediction byaddin& to his own prophecies:

#a$ )r. Abdul +a*im will die durin& the life?time of Ghulam Ahmad, and,

#b$ Ghulam Ahmad will live to be ei&hty years of a&e, which was to be -/9 or

later.

Ghulam Ahmad died within a year on May 9;, -/, at a&e ; and )r. Abdul +a*im lived formany more years to become an old man.

Ghulam Ahmads prophecies and self deprecation

7n various occasions when he announced a prophecy he would self?deprecate if the prophecy

was not fulfilled. A few of his announcements are &iven below:

-. 'If what I have said does not happen e"actly, I am prepared for every punishment. My face be blac*ened and I be insulted. A rope be put round my nec* and I be han&ed'.

9. '%repare for me a cross if my falsehood is e"posed and curse me more than the 4atan, the evil

and the accursed.'

0. Ce&ardin& his burnin& love and lust for Muhammadi <e&um, a dau&hter of one of hisfollowers, he said, '+er marria&e #to me$ is a settled affair. I swear by God that this is true.

They shall not have the power to thwart its occurrence. God Almi&hty has said, =e have

ourselves married her to you, it is not possible that My words may chan&e.'

8urther, he said, 'There is no chan&in& of the =ord of Allah. The meanin& is that this prophecyof mine is bound to become true as the failure of its fulfillment falsifies the =ord of God'.

In fact, the =ord of God is never falsified but a liar spea*in& in the name of God is e"posed. +e

further said, 'If this prophecy does not turn out to be true I shall be the most evil of the evils, ye

foolsD' =ellD +e proved himself what he was.

5. '<ut if this prophecy is not from Thee, 7 God, then perish me in dis&race and total loss andma*e me accursed and peltable in Thy view.'

3. '8or ascertainment of my truthfulness or my falsehood there is no better thin& than my

prophesies.' =ellD =e *now the truth, dont weB

Allah repeatedly failed Ghulam Ahmad in his prophecies to prove to the world that this manwas a liar, an imposter and an inventor of a new reli&ion which was not Islam.
