Penambahbaikan Akta Pendidikan 1996

Tertakluk kepada kelulusan Menteri, suatu Kolej Voctech yang ditubuhkan di bawah akta ini boleh dengan kerjasama mana-mana institusi, perbadanan, organisasi perindustrian awam dan swasta, badan-badan profesional, IPTA, IPTS atau lain-lain agensi latihan mengendalikan kursus teknik dan vokasional atau program latihan bersama (termasuklah program pertukaran) yang disifatkan suaimanfaat oleh Menteri

Bhg V, Sek. 67, 68 & 69

(1) Menteri boleh menetapkan cara murid di sekolah rendah, sekolah menengah dan kolej Voctech hendaklah dinilai dan taraf yang perlu dicapai oleh murid itu.

(2) Kuasa, fungsi dan kewajipan pengarah peperiksaan, badan professional, agensi kelayakan dan institusi pendidikan.

( 3) Sesuatu institusi pendidikan boleh mengendalikan peperiksaan, ujian atau dalam bentuk penilaian lain bagi maksud menilai murid-muridnya sendiri.

Adalah dicadangkan supaya Akta Pendidikan 1996 (Akta 550) diteliti dan dikaji dalam Mesyuarat Khas bagi memastikan pelaksanaan Transformasi Pendidikan Voctech akur dengan Akta sedia ada

bagi Seksyen yang lain.
