K.U.S is predominantly known or its specialization in Architectural fnishing, specifcally or masonry, plastering,

screeding and tiling.

Aside being a certifed ISO 9001, another milestone that K.U.S achieved was having the bizSAFE star certifcate.

This certifcation motivates us to conduct risk assessment in key areas that involved saety and health o the

workers, and as such, we’re able to create series o Method Statements or Architectural Products. These Method

Statements serves as a work procedure and saety measures when applying K.U.S’s products and it’s being

urnished to customers or easing their work in disseminating instructions to the workers. Another achievement

that has been awarded to K.U.S is the Green Label Certifcate, it’s a recognition given by Singapore Environment

time-saving and cost eective. The frst series o collections are Stainless Steel and Brass Divider Strips. These

items are used to control or to relieve stress between two dierent oor coverings. It has adjustable anges

that allow the height to be exible to address dierent ooring, leaving a result with an elegant look fnished.

Another series are the PVC Square and Stainless Steel tile trims. The Stainless Steel comes with square and round

shapes, while the PVC square has variety o colors to choose rom. Made rom high quality PVC materials and

corrosion resistance, these tile trims are distinctively designed or edge protection and decorative purposes

in wall and oor trimmings. The third new series is our latest PVC recycled and PVC Green products that are

made rom hazardous ree polyvinyl materials. These recycled and green products are cautiously produced to

maintain its superior quality and versatility or plastering works e.g drywall, concrete/stucco, screeding and

Bricklaying Works

Brick Mesh is an essential reinorcement component or masonry work to minimize crack due to stresses, vibration

and thermal movement o the brick wall. It is commonly applied in bricklaying and plastering works especially atbrick layers, junction between brick and concrete, joint between dissimilar materials and areas along the line o

stress.

In order to suit various areas o application, we supply optional diferent gauges and diferent mesh openings. By

having galvanized nish, it also provides good corrosion resistance while applying in wet areas like brick and

plastering works.

LINTEL BRACKET


K.U.S’s Lintel is a lightweight galvanized steel component bent to shape to be accommodated with brick wall and

ranging rom lower to higher capacity with the increment o fange height and thickness. It is specically designed

to support brickwork above window and door openings in replacement to conventional concrete lintel. As the

component is light in weight and has a high load bearing capacity, it is easy to install and construction speed can

be increased. Since the product nish is galvanized, it urther improves corrosion resistance.

In order to avoid mistakes by using the wrong lintel, we have introduced dierent kinds o perorated shapes or

easy recognition.

As additional perks, we can assist you to do the load calculation ree o charge, likewise we can propose the right

model to use that suits your specic requirements.

K.U.S’s Lintel Bracket is designed to be mounted on structural wall or column where there is no bearing area or

lintel to rest on. It also comes with two dierent sizes o punched holes or optional asteners to be tted. We also

supply HD Lintel Bracket or structural purpose use.

Bonding Bar & Hold Fast Bricklaying Works

K.U.S’s Bonding Bar are made o hot dipped galvanized steel and used at joint connection between brick wall and

concrete member so as to minimize crack along the joints. It has been tested and the results has well exceededBCA’s requirements o hot dipped galvanization with minimum average coating mass o 460 g/m or equivalent

thickness o 64 microns in accordance with BS EN 1461. Lipped Frame also provides greater fexibility in positioning

the Bonding Bars to acilitate brick-laying. The Bonding Bar should be installed at every 4th course o the brick

layers.

Hold Fasts are widely used where there are two dierent materials required to join together such as the joint

between concrete or timber structure and brick wall. Nowadays, many contractors preerred to use Hold Fasts as

they are easy to install and also time saving compare to conventional way o cast-in column.

K.U.S’s Frame Tie and Brick Tie are made o galvanized steel which comes with perorated and corrugated shapes

or good bonding strength. These Ties are normally installed vertically at every 4th course o the brick wall to

provide a connection between brick wall and structural member, transer load and restrain the dierential material

movement.

K.U.S’s corner bead reinorces exterior stucco or plaster corners with durable, straight and rust ree vinyl corners. Our

vinyl corner beads are specially manuactured with striation and peroration along the fanges, which provide positivebonding o stucco to the product and substrates which they are attached. These become part o the building structure

and move along with the walls. However, these do not reely express their coecient o expansion or contraction.

K.U.S’s corner beads are available in 3 main versions: sharp edge or ne corners, smooth edge or contemporaneous

corners and bull-nose edge or sot corners.

The other version o corner beads (CRL series) can perorm multiple unctions such as angle constrained by narrow

corners, walls with acute and obtuse angle and various curves to most o the construction radiuses.

90° internal corners are usually the most difcult alignment aspect during wall plastering, as such we developed

the Inner Bead to counter this problem. Due to its aligning characteristics, the Inner Bead was designed to give aperect 90° internal corner even though the wall does not meet perectly at the corner. With K.U.S Inner Bead, it

makes the work easier and more efcient, thus it saves time and money.

Plastering Works

K.U.S has ingeniously integrated the Corner Bead and Drip Line functionalities into a single product. As a result, both

straight corner and groove for drip line can be achieved in a single plastering procedure. To cater for broader rangeof applications, we specially designed our Drip Line in 2 sizes, one for the window ledge (DL-1310) which has a

shorter distance between the window frame and the edge and the other size is catered for normal ledge.

Our Drip Line was produced with a Benzotriazole, an ultra

violet (UV) resistance chemical additive that gives protection

from discoloration.

Plastering Works

In the construction industry context, Plaster Stop was derived rom its ability to terminate plaster or stucco works.

K.U.S’s series o Plaster Stops ranging rom 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 35mm reveals to create skirting along

the wall, groove on the ceiling, window and door jambs as well as addressing the juncture o dissimilar materials.

The specially designed L-shape angle edge trims (without back fange) are to provide better alignment to the

intersections during installation. Whereas vinyl itsel is not re hazardous, thereore it does not support combustion

once fame source is removed. In addition, vinyl products solve related problems like static electricity, electrolysis,

rust, oxidation, excessive dents or kinks and damages in transit or on the job site.

K.U.S’s groove joints are used to provide distinctive architectural pleasing break on any stucco wall surace. Chamered

and vaulted reveals are an improvement over standard U shape stucco reveals. These ofer a new and more appealing

look not only to the design aspect but also improve mechanism or stucco embedment. Furthermore, this will

enhance the bond between the stucco and the joints to reduce separation at these locations.

Since Groove Joints are normally used at areas which are

exposed directly to sunlight, we have added a Benzotriazole,

an ultra violet (UV) resistance chemical additive that gives

The three essential accessories in the assembling o light weight partition wall are Angle Bar, Locking Plate and

U-Bracket which are made o steel bent to shape.

Angle Bar is designed to be secured to the structural soft slab with anchor bolt and locked in the groove provided

by the light weight partition wall and Locking Plate is designed to be secured to two adjacent walls with bolt & nut.

For U-Bracket, it is designed to secure both side by side light weight partition walls and the rebar running vertically

at the end side o the partition wall so that lled up wall like brick or concrete block wall can be securely connected

by welding hold ast to the rebar. Footing Bar is designed to be secured at the connection between oor and light

weight partition wall which is not erected in ull oor height (reer to the picture).

K.U.S has it all to provide one stop shop in lightweight partition wall panel installation or alignment securing the

adjoining panels and astening o re-bar with welded hold asts.

Tile is a non-homogeneous material, thus unable to chamer of neatly at the 90 degree corner. K.U.S’s Tile Trim is

specially designed to provide smooth chamering at the corners. It comes in numerous color selections to either

blend into your tile’s color theme or to maniest a contracting periphery.

Apart rom the conventional round shape PVC tile trim, K.U.S has newly developed the PVC square and rst ever

Stainless Steel wrapped PVC tile trims which comes with grade 304 and 316 in round and square shapes. The stainless

L-STRIP

Control Joints provide good spacing between concrete slabs. The built-in cavity serves as a bufer or oor expan-

sion on hot days and compression in cold days. A slab without Control Joints will crack and reduce the liespan o

the concrete slab.

K.U.S’s L-Strips are designed to minimize the cracks due to expansion and contraction o concrete oor in a

designated acceptable manner. It is also used as a divider o two or more diferent oor sections such as oor nish

with tile, terrazzo and concrete.

Our vinyl angle beads are specially manuactured with striation and peroration along fanges, which providepositive bonding o plaster to the product and substrates which they are attached. It also creates excellentalignment at corner or angle o structure ater nishing is done.

90 internal corners are usually the most dicult alignment aspect during wall plastering. K.U.S has developed theInner Bead to counter this problem. The Inner Bead is designed to give a perectly 90 straight and sharp internalcorner regardless whether the walls meet perectly at the corner. Due to its sel aligning characteristic, it makesplastering o internal corners easier and more ecient thus saving both time and money.

K.U.S’s PVC L-Bead is specially developed to substitute the conventional aluminum L-Bead o which the metalliccolor can never match the color o the wall. The PVC L-Bead does not only bring you saving, it also ofers easy installa-

tion and painting characteristics.

K.U.S’s Casing Bead main capability is to provide as an encasement to raw edges o drywall. This will enable good

butting o the substrates such as masonry, glass, window and door encasements preventing moisture rom

migrating into board. It is also used as a moisture barrier around bathtubs and showers.

Other Accessories

The Grouting Hand Pump is an essential accessory or masonry and pre-cast concrete installation works. It is used

or pumping the cement grout to fll-up the gaps or voids in areas that are usually ound in between joints o brick

wall and door rame, at the top course o brickwork and beam/slab sot, between pre-cast concrete components

and etc. The hand pump is made o plastic and light in weight thereore it is easy to carry and easy to wash aterused.

K.U.S’s Concrete Nail is used to secure objects into masonry, concrete and other hard materials. Nailing into such

materials require high material strength compared to ordinary nail, hence it is made o high carbon steel to be able

to withstand strong hammering action and also incorporated with uted body to enhance the ability o easy

penetration and pull-out strength. The zinc plating fnishing urther improves the corrosion resistance.

Nylon Twine is made o 100% nylon which marks the characteristic o strong resistance to mildew, rot, abrasion,

cement, oil and other chemical stains. Its ductility property has made it an excellent vertical and horizontal

alignment and marking tool in the construction industry. Nylon Twine is also commonly known as Masons Twine

and it’s packed in 90g per roll.
