COURSE ASSIGNMENT (20%)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. This assignment contributes 20% to your overall marks for the course.

2. You may choose to complete this assignment individually or in groups of

three (3). If you opt for the latter, you are required to submit one (1)

assignment only.

3. Your assignment must be submitted to your tutor along with Tutor Marked

Assignment Form (Borang Permarkahan Tutor) by WEEK 12.

4. Fill up the appended Declaration Form (Appendix 3) and attach it to

assignment during submission. Note that plagiarism in all forms is

forbidden. Students who submit plagiarised assignment and/or copy from

each other will be severely penalised.

component)

b. Task 2 write mini research paper (20 marks)

APPENDIX 1

GUIDELINES FOR MINI RESEARCH PAPER

1. The mini research paper structure should consist of the title page, table of

content, introduction, body of content, and conclusion.

2. The assignment should be typed in A4 portrait format using 12 font size

(either Arial or Times New Roman font) and 1.5 line spacing, and should be

between 800 to 1,000 words excluding graphs, illustrations, references and

appendixes. Please do a Word Count and state the number of words at the

end of your assignment.

3. The research content must comprise :

a. Introduction (max 200 words) Definition of lifelong learning, about

OUM learning methodologies.

b. Body (max 600 words) do you agree or disagree? Why?

c. Conclusion (max 200 words) Conclude your stand on the issue.

4. Show at least one illustration (diagram, picture or chart) in the mini research

paper.

5. Document the research resources which should include at least 3 references

printed or digital based on the APA or any other citation style:

a. At least 1 reference from books (e-books)

b. At least 1 reference from journals (e-journals)

c. At least 1 reference from other sources (websites, newspapers,

magazines, etc)
