    Climb the 500 steps to Waterfall Hilltop

    Temple

    Waterfall Hilltop Temple is a splendid representation of the Hindu

    devotees. It's a 500-step climb but at the end of it you'll see a 180 degree

    view of Mount Erskine and Gurney areas. Before reaching this temple,

    there are three smaller temples at ground level that are worth a visit too.

    These temples are in the spotlight each Thaipusam with the one on the hill

    being the main star.

    Kek Lok Si Temple @ Air Itam

    It is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia. The temple is a focal point offestivals of the Chinese community in Penang. The Chinese New Year celebrations are

    particularly impressive. For 30 days following Chinese New Year, the temple remains

    open until late at night whilst thousands of lights turn the scenery into a sea of light.

    Ferry Terminal

    Penang Ferry began its operations in 1920, making it the oldest ferry service inMalaysia. These iconic ferries ply between the Seberang Perai mainland and

    Penang island, ferrying both passengers and vehicles to and from the island.

    The 15 minute ferry ride allows visitors to enjoy the spectacular view of Penang

    island and serves as a reliable mode of transportation to and from the island.

    Also provides lots of sports activities such as banana boat, jet ski, parachute and

    Teluk Bahang Dam

    Cycle from Batu Ferringhi to Teluk Bahang for a workout. Cycle towards BatuFerringhi and onwards to Teluk Bahang dam where groups of cyclists throng early

    Sunday mornings. It's a long, windy and hilly stretch but a quiet one and rewards

    you with a breath taking view of the large dam at the top. Penang is becoming a

    cycle-friendly state with its new cycling policies.

    Penang National Park (Taman Negara P.Pinang) @ Teluk Bahang

    A great way to explore Penang's nature attractions. The hiking treks are lesschallenging. There are two options for trekking, one is to the monkey beach which

    mostly is good for swimming. the other one is to the turtle beach where you may

    see the turtle hatchery and the beach.

    Penang Bridge

    Penang Bridge is the longest bridge in Southeast Asia and the third longest in the world. It

    connects Highway Georgetown in Bayan Lepas, Penang to the mainland peninsula in Prai. Itis 13.5km length and 8.4km is across the sea. Construction work began in 1982 and

    completed in 1985,it take only three years finished the construction and with cost of RM

    850 million.

    Penang Second Bridge

    It will connect Batu Kawan on the mainland Seberang Perai and Batu Maung on Penang

    Island. It will be the second bridge to link the island to the mainland after Penang Bridge.

    The total length of the RM 3 billion bridge is 24 km and will become the longest bridge in

    Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
