Air Pollution• Incidence of haze yearly -

affected the daily affairs andpublic health.

• 203 schools in Klang andKuala Langat in Selangorclosed

• Also contributed by othermajor polluters - vehiclesand power plants

Water Pollution and Drought• Drought in 2014 - resulted

in some water treatmentplant had to be closed

• Water pollution associatedwith the closure areammonia, nitrite, chlorideand acidic materials.

• Increase incidence ofwater and food-bornediseases.

Floods and Environment and Health

• Paralyzed the health infrastructures ie. hospitalsand clinics

• Increased the health risk faced by the floodvictims

• Recent years - highly visible environmental situationin Malaysia is increasingly disturbed and trigger ahealth risk to those exposed
