Satu gas mempunyai komposisi berikut:

36 lb gas ini perlu dimasukkan dalam setiap silinder . Silinder hendaklahdirekabentuk supaya tekanan maksimum tidak melebihi 2400 psig apabila suhuialah 180°F. Hitung isipadu silinder yang perlu menggunakan kaedahpseudokritik/Kay .

(b) Satu pekerja memasukkan udara kering kepada satu paip tegar (garispusatdalaman 30 mm dan 20 m panjang) untuk memeriksa samada terdapatkebocoran. Suhu dan tekanan mutlak udara di dalam paip adalah 35t dan205kPa. Pekerja tersebut kembali selepas 24 jam dan mendapati bahawatekanan mutlak telah jatuh kepada 183 kPa, dan suhu di dalam paip adalah21 °C. Adakah paip tersebut bocor? Jika ya, kira jisim udara yang telah keluardisebabkan kebocoran.
