INTRODUCTION

Malaysia-Thailand-Japan International Conference on Science and Technology 2016 is the second joint conference between UKM-Chulalongkorn and UKM-Gifu, which held on 2014 in Thailand and Japan, respectively.

For this year, this conference will be organized in Malaysia by Polymer Research Centre (PORCE), in collaboration with Faculty of Science and Technology (School of Chemical Sciences and Food Technology, and School of Applied Physics) and UKM Graduate Centre. The aims of this conference are to provide a platform for the researchers from Malaysia, Thailand (Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology) and Japan (Gifu University) to discuss and disseminate latest developments in science and technology.

One of the focuses of this conference is to strengthen and expand the research in the �eld of science and technology, which is in accordance to this year’s theme; "Nurturing Science and Technology for Sustainable Developments”. This conference also intends to increase the quality of research and development through discussion and collaboration as well as to encourage all scientists; local and regional to expand their research network.
