HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISION OF MALAYSIA (SUHAKAM)
The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) was established under the HumanRights Commission of Malaysia Act 1999. SUHAKAM has the mandate and responsibility asthe National Human Rights Institution, to promote awareness and protection of humanrights. Malaysian Citizens who are innovative, dedicated and qualified are invited to fill thefollowing positions:
1. Post : ACCOUNTANT (HEAD QUARTERS)
Salary Scale : Minimum RM1,925.00 Maximum RM8,685.00 and additionalallowance of RM850.00 per month

Qualifications

i. Bachelor's degree with Honours in Accounting fromlocal or oversea university, or any qualificationrecognized by the Commission and Member of theProfessional Accounting Bodies recognized by theGovernment;
ii. Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants;iii. Credit in Bahasa Malaysia and English at SPM level or
equivalent qualification recognized by the Commission;iv. Has at least 5 years of experience in Accounting,
Finance and Investment; and
v. Possesses skills and knowledge in planning,implementing and controlling all matters pertaining toaccounting, finance and investment including thedrafting of policies and budgets for recommendation tothe Commission.

Salary Scale : Minimum RM2,253.00 Maximum RM8,731.00 and additionalallowance of RM850.00 per month

i. Honours Degree in Law, International Public Relation orany other equivalent qualification recognized by theCommission;
ii. Credit in Bahasa Malaysia and English at SPM level orequivalent qualification recognized by the Commission;
iii. Must be able to undertake research tasks and providehigh quality evidence based analysis andrecommendations;
iv. Possesses knowledge and understanding of humanrights and social justice issues in Malaysia;
v. Has at least 2 years of experience in the related field;vi. Ability to work with minimal supervision, to set priorities
and to meet deadlines; andvii. Excellent written and oral communication skills in
Bahasa Melayu and English;
