RATIONALE
Through speaking and listening, and understanding discourse learners will be able relay and listen to main ideas and specific information from oral presentation. Learners can identify the role and relationships between speakers, attitudes and emotions of the speakers. Thus, oral presentation enables language learners to relay and elicit information to and from their peers while building up their confidence and improve their spoken language.
Writing requires learners to apply the mechanics of writing, paragraph writing and developing and organizing ideas in order to sequence, summarize, provide reasons and elaborate an idea effectively.
