Part 1 2-3 minutes

Phase 1 Interlocutor Good morning / afternoon / evening. Can I have your mark sheets, please? Candidates hand over the mark sheets to the Interlocutor.

Phase 2 Interlocutor Interlocutor selects one/two of the following questions for each candidate. Allow candidates roughly 30 seconds maximum per question. Use candidates’ names throughout.

You also need to answer a question briefly about your partner’s pictures. (Candidate A), it’s your turn first. Here are your pictures. You now have some time to look at the pictures. Place Candidate booklet, open at Task 1A, in front of Candidate A. Allow candidate 45 seconds to look at the pictures. Okay, are you ready (Candidate A)? Now, tell us the story in the pictures.
