Day 1: Canada – Hong Kong

Depart Vancouver for Singapore via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific Airways.

Day 2: Hong Kong - SingaporeUpon arrival in Singapore, meet and transfer to the hotel. Free for leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 3: Singapore – Tampin – Malacca [Breakfast]Transfer to the train station for your train to Tampin. Enjoy the rural scenery as the train passes through villages and plantations. Upon arrival at Tampin railway station, your driver will await you and will bring you to Malacca, a small town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Bukit China, Porta de Santiago, St Paul’s Church, Stadhuys Building, Christchurch, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple and enjoy a walk on Jonker street. Overnight in Malacca.

Day 4: Malacca – Kuala Lumpur [Breakfast/Lunch/-] After breakfast depart to Kuala Lumpur: the capital city of Malaysia. Upon arrival you will discover the city as your driver will show you the beauty of the old and new Kuala Lumpur. Visit, China Town, Masjid Jamek with its Railway Administrative building and Dataran Merdeka, the old and new Royal King’s Palace, the Chinese Thean Hou temple, the National Mosque, and you will make a brief photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 5: Kuala Lumpur – Taman Negara [Breakfast/-/Dinner]After breakfast your will depart to the Taman Negara, you will make a stop at the Batu Caves, famous for its limestone cave. Within the Cave, you will find several smaller Hindu Temples that are devoted to lord Murugan. After, proceed to the jetty of Kuala Lipis. Here, you will take a 2.5 hours boat ride to the Taman Negara. Enjoy the scenery, and you might even spot many wild lifes along the way. Upon check-in, you have some free time for relaxation or exploring the rainforest. Dinner will be served in the restaurant of the hotel. After dinner, you will join a night walk to explore the rainforest at night. Overnight in Taman Negara.

Day 6: Taman Negara [Breakfast/Lunch/-] After breakfast, proceed for the canopy walk, the highest and longest bridge made out of ropes in Asia. Moreover, you will visit Bukit Teresek, a hill here you will have an amazing panoramic view over the jungle. The rest of the afternoon is free for own activities. Lunch will be served in restaurant of the hotel.

Day 7: Taman Negara - Cameron Highlands [Breakfast/-/-] After an early breakfast you will depart to the Cameron Highlands. En route, visit a basket-making stall, the Lata Iskandar Waterfall and a native settlement. Rest of the day is free for own leisure. Overnight in Cameron Highlands.

Day 8: Cameron Highlands - Penang [Breakfast/Lunch/-]After breakfast you will visit the “BOH” (Best of Highlands) tea plantations and its tea factory. Enjoy your tea in the cool breeze of the highlands. Stop at a strawberry farm and a vegetable market. En route to Penang stop at the Sam Poh Tong Temple famous for the turtles living there, and you will visit the royal town of Kuala Kangsar. Visit the Ubudiah Mosque, where you can enter if it is not praying time and pass by the old and the new Royal Palace. Overnight in Penang.

Day 9: Penang [Breakfast/-/-]After breakfast you will explore the capital city of Georgetown that has been officially declared as a UNESCO site in 2008. Visit Fort Cornwallis. Passed the Street of Harmony, visit Wat Chayamangkalaram, and the Dhammikarama Burmese temple, which houses a magnificent 8.2 meter high image of Lord Buddha. Your tour ends with a visit at the Khoo Kongsi Clan house where you will be fascinated by the detailed carvings on the walls, pillars and roofs made by master craftsmen from China. Pass by the Chew Clan Jetty, the City Town Hall and Little India. The rest of the day is at your own leisure. Overnight in Gerogetown.

Day 10: Penang - Kota Bharu [Breakfast/Lunch/-]In the early morning you will continue your journey to the east coast of Malaysia. Passing by mountain range that offers breathtaking views of the dense tropical rain forest, villages and palm oil plantation fields. Make a quick photo stop at “Banding Island” where you can enjoy a scenic view over the calm and picturesque Temenggor Lake with an immense tropical rainforest in the background. Whilst continuing your journey more east, you will make another photo stop at the highest mountain point on this route that is overlooking the Thai / Malay border. On arrival in the state of Kelantan, you will visit the small town of Rantau Panjang; a meeting, mingling and trading point for the Thai and Malay people. Lunch will be served en route. Overnight in Kota Bahru.

Day 11: Kota Bharu - Terengganu [Breakfast/Lunch/-]You will start the day with a visit to the famous and colorful wet market of Kota Bharu and the traditional cottage industries where they produce among others silver handicraft and where they will demonstrate Songket weaving. Drive south along the scenic coastline towards Kuala Terengganu. En route, you will stop for a local lunch where you might taste some traditional “Keropok”: the very popular local chips made of fish or prawn. Overnight in Kuala Terengganu.

Day 12: Terengganu - Kuantan [Breakfast/Lunch/-]Your journey today will continue more south, towards Kuantan. In Kuala Terengganu there is an option to visit the Islamic Civilization Park. This park is showcasing twenty replicas of great Islamic monuments of the world. (entrance tickets are not included). Whilst continuing your journey you will visit a brassware-making center. The district of Kuantan, you will stop at a scenic coastal fishing village and a turtle information center where you will learn more about the projects to save the endangered species. En route, a local lunch will be served, and a very popular Malay dish that must be tasted is the “Lemang”: Rice cooked in bamboo with coconut milk. Before heading to your hotel you will visit another cottage industry where Mengkuang leaves are being weaved into bags and mats. Overnight in Kuantan.

Day 13: Kuantan - Singapore [Breakfast/-/-]After breakfast your will depart to Singapore. At the border town of Johor Bahru your driver will hand you over to another transfer that is authorized to enter Singapore. Rest of the day is free for own leisure. Overnight in Singapore.

Day 14: Singapore [Breakfast/-/-]Begin a city tour, passing by the Padang, the Singapore Cricket Club, the historic Parliament House and the National Gallery of Singapore. If the weather permits, make a photo stop here and view these magnificent buildings up close. The next stop will be at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of the Marina Bay. Proceed to the Thian Hock Keng Temple. You will also pay a visit to Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Singapore Botanic Garden. Finally, let your senses come alive at Little India, as you walk past shops along the five-footway offering a variety of exotic fruits, spices. Overnight in Singapore.

Day 15: Singapore - Hong Kong - Canada [Breakfast/-/-]After breakfast you will have some free time until your departure transfer will pick you up from your hotel and will bring you to the International Airport of Singapore.
