PRISONISASI DAN MASALAHNYA DALAM SISTEM PEMASYARAKATAN Deliani Fakultas Hukum Universitas Amir Hamzah Medan Email: [email protected] ABSTRACT Prisonization is an accomodation process of life procedure in the socizalization of Institution System. This accomodative process is accomplished through learning process by interaction among inmates. The quality of life procedure effect, moral, habit, and general cultureof inmate in the socialization system can change both attitude and behaviour of inmates. This is caused by interaction among inmates resulting in intame group such as group based on ethnic group or origine. In addition, the lack of familial visit can make inmates frustrated, anxeus, and fear of being stayed in socialization system, thus for their own safety they must comply with all rules, regulations and culture applicable in the socialization system although they are controversial to values held by community in general. This can disturb the counselling process for inmates, thus failure of goal in counselling, For the reason, some attempts have been taken to remove the inmates to another socialization system, or to open socialization system, and there should be individualized punishment relevant or specific to characteristic of the inmate.
