2.0 Sinopsis/Synopsis Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pelajar kepada konsep, teknik dan amalan yang

terlibat dalam pengurusan projek sistem ICT. Secara khususnya, kursus ini membincangkan

faktor-faktor yang diperlukan bagi pengurusan projek yang berjaya melalui tugasan projek yang

praktikal. Topik utama termasuk konsep pengurusan projek, pengenalpastian dan pengumpulan

keperluan, tugas pengurus dan ahli projek, organisasi projek, komunikasi projek, perancangan

projek, penjadualan, kawalan dan kos. Penggunaan pakej pengurusan projek dan alat bantu

perisian merupakan sebahagian daripada kursus ini di mana pelajar akan menggunakan perisian

dan alat bantu tersebut dalam tugasan projek mereka bagi mentakrifkan tugas dan aktiviti projek,

penjadualan projek, penjejakan dan pengawalan projek serta hasil dan dokumentasi projek.

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the concepts, techniques and practices involved

in project management of ICT systems. In particular, this course discusses the factors necessary

for the successful project management in a practical setting through major practical project

assignments. The key topics include project management concepts, needs identification and

requirements capture, role playing of the project manager and teams, project organisations,

project communications, project planning, scheduling, control and associated costs. The use of

Project Management Packages and associated tools will be an integral part of the course which

the groups of students will use in their major project assignments for defining the necessary task

and activities, project scheduling, tracking and monitoring, as well as essential deliverables and

documentation.
