At the end of the course, the students should be able to:-

1. Select the correct meter and range for specific measurement.2. Calibrate meter for current, volt, ohms.3. Select the correct signal generator.4. Determine type of waveform and amplitude from signal generator.5. Setup and operate oscilloscope.6. Measure waveform parameters.7. Identify specific tacho generator and reading. 8. Identify and check the condition of various type of measuring instrument.9. Calibrate and keep record of measuring equipment.

1 Select the correct meter State the difference between analogue and digital meter according to its performance.

Explain and identify the choice of features (AC, DC, OHMS etc.) according to its specification.

Explain the selection of meter range according to safety operating limit.

Identify correct scale range according to its specification.
