Awareness letter for parents regarding some new changes etc.

A new intercom system has been installed for security reasons therefore all students must arrive before 5pm at their appointed time 5pm/6pm (doors shall be locked at exactly 5pm prompt)no one must arrive too early,doors shall open 10 mins prior to classtime.Anyone arriving late for class will be put on detention the following day- for maximum of ½ hour. They may even be sent back home.Please be punctual.

All parents are reminded that they must collect their children on their appointed times not earlier nor later Your appointed times are (6pm/6:30pm/7:00pm)

All parents when arriving to collect their children must press the buzzer and say who they are and their child’s name, only then will we let you child out, otherwise children will not be allowed to leave the premises (this is for the safety of our children)NOTE: Please do not pass on messages to other students leaving or to anyone at the main entrance for your child to be called outside, this will not be accepted.

Any parents wishing to discuss matters with the principal or teachers must make prior arrangements either before the class starts(max 20 mins before) or at the end of madrasah time(after 7pm).No parents are allowed to enter the child’s classroom to discuss matters regarding their child or even stand outside classrooms waiting to discuss matters,please understand that a teacher is not allowed to leave his/her class unattended just because a parent wants to have a word.

All male parents are reminded that they must at all times when collecting their children at their appointed times observe the shariah laws regarding our female parents (especially) when waiting outside the premises for children to be sent outside, please either wait in your cars after pressing the buzzer or stand at such a distance from the door so that females do not feel intimidated. (Jazakumullah)

Parents wanting their children to attend after school clubs, games such as football, cricket or martial arts must inform the principal in person and have this agreed with.

No male parents are allowed to enter premises especially to the first floor between the hours of 5:00pm-7:00pm (except in the case of salat time)which in such case the door will remain open 10 minutes prior to salat. All parents are reminded that when collecting your children at their appointed times please note that sometimes namaaz time can fall in the same time as their home time in such circumstances we request parents to either come in for salat (or come 15 minutes after your appointed time) so that the salat does not get interrupted. NOTE: We will only allow the students to leave after namaaz ,students will not be permitted to leave before namaaz. (please take a namaaz time table) and always check the appropriate namaaz which shall fall at the home time of your child).

All parents must send in a note or ring the principal direct explaining the reason for the absence of your child,please do not leave messages with siblings or other people. (no child is allowed to be absent unless they have a valid reason)

All the students must wear their masjid uniform when coming to the madrasah (boys topi and jubbah or salwar kameez) girls (jilbab and scarf),also students are not allowed to wear socks within the classroom (masjid). The male students(boys) are not allowed to have any kind of unislamic haircuts such as short back and sides etc…all the hair must be cut level from all sides,it is the duty of the parents to make sure your child’s hair is cut the right way.please take heed of this notice and for further details on this matter please refer to the Madrasah prospectus under the heading ‘’code of conduct’’.The prospectus is available from the Madrasah.Jazakumullah Khairan.
