course content trainer encik rahmat ibrahim commencedhiscareerasapoliceofficerwiththeSingaporePoliceForce.Afterspendingmorethan10 years with the police forceas an investigator and trainingofficer,hemovedtotheprivatesector, initially as a securityofficer with a US MultinationalelectronicscompanyinMalaysia.Since then, En Rahmat hasworkedasamanagerinsecurityand loss prevention in variousmultinational companies inMalaysia and Singapore. EnRahmat was attached before tomultinational companies likeNationalSemiconductor,HewlettPackard, Quantum Asia Pacific(Singapore),STMicroelectronicsand Motorola and Flextronicsduring his 33 year career as asecuritypractitioner. Encik Rahmat holds adegreeinManagementfromtheRMITUniversity inAustraliaandfurther went on to specializeand acquired the covetedprofessional certification, fromAmerican Society for IndustrialSecurity(ASIS)knowas‘CertifiedProtection Professional” whichcarriesthetitleCPP.Hehasvastexperience inriskmanagement,security and loss preventionmanagement,fraudinvestigationsand audits. He is currentlyattached to a multinationalcompany in Malaysia and alsocarriesoutworkasatrainerandlosspreventionconsultant.
