Final Year ProjectSynthesis and Analysis of Coconut Oil Using Chromatography Techniques. The synthesis methods are using addition of acetic acid and heating process to gain the coconut oil. The synthesize oil been analyze using GC, GC-MS, HPLC and LC-MS(ToF). Analysis of the fatty acid and all the elements contain in the synthesize oil then been compare with the market virgin coconut oil. Result of differences of fatty acid and all the elements contain between the market sample and synthesis oil is slightly difference in percentage with both methods that been used in the synthesis.
