PROFIL IT Insight Sdn Bhd

IT Insight Sdn Bhd adalah persediaan untuk menyediakan keadaan seni Point-of-Jualan

DEFINASI PENUGASAN

Di sini saya ingin menyatakan bahawa saya telah bertugas di Bahagian

Pembangunan dan Pengurusan EG, MAMPU, dari 4 Ogos 2009 sehingga kini.

Tugas-tugas saya adalah seperti berikut:

1. Terlibat dalam Program JAD(Joint Application Development) bersama

Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara(JPN) dan Heitech Padu Berhad(HTP)

bagi melaksanakan tugas-tugas pembangunan sistem dibawah Projek

Citizen Registry System(CRS);

2. Terlibat dalam pelaksanaan Security Posture Assessment(SPA) di

setiap Agensi Perintis yang terlibat dengan Projek CRS;

3. Terlibat dalam mesyuarat serta aktiviti-aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan

pelaksanaan, pengujian(UAT & SIT) bagi aplikasi CRS di JPN;

4. Membantu dalam penyediaan dokumentasi mesyuarat yang berkaitan

dengan pelaksanaan Porjek CRS;

5. Urus setia Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Teknikal Projek Perintis CRS.

1. PENGENALAN SISTEM XRETAIL

Overview

Designed for Microsoft Windows® platform, Extensive Retail or X-Retail™ is suitable for any retail businesses. Its user-friendliness, easy to learn, and feature rich characteristics have been well received by our customers. Features can be tailored to fit any retail business. Functional buttons can be turned on/off, re-arranged, re-named or password protected. Performance and stability are X-Retail’s ™ design priority. Using both Microsoft SQL® and Visual FoxPro® databases, X-Retail™ requires minimal technical support and its data is truly scalable, facilitating your future growth and expansion. X-Retail™ can be used in both single-counter & multi-counters networked environments.

With the X-retail™ designed with the customer in mind, the functions and screen layouts are conveniently placed for easy access from the main screen. Although designed for Microsoft Windows®, the X-Retail™ is significantly different from any other windows based application. The reason is X-Retail™ does not use the mouse to navigate at all. Instead, the keyboard is the primary hardware of navigation. Thus, a few guidelines should be followed while using the system:

a. Navigation or selection of certain menus and sub-menus or going direct to a certain text fields are done using the F1-F11 keys or by touch-screen; b. The Enter key performs the “OK” function and throughout the manual, it will be symbolized as the “Enter” key; c. The Escape key performs the “Cancel” function and can be used for almost every function in X-Retail™ to exit or cancel any chosen function; d. The tabs throughout X-Retail™ can be accessed using the windows accelerator keys (shortcut keys highlighted by a line under a specific letter)

Minimum System Configuration X-Retail™ POS is a Windows® based system. In order to enjoy optimized performance, the used PC system must be ensured to meet the following recommendation: Operating System : Windows XP® and above is recommended CPU Processor : Celeron 2.0GHz Memory : 256MB Monitor : 12” or 15” Touch Screen Hard Disk Space : 1 GB Receipt Printer : Parallel or Serial port Cash Drawer : RJ11 or RS232 Customer Display : RS232 Barcode Scanner Some of Basic Modules Available:

3. PENGENALAN SISTEM X-ENTERPISE

Overview

X-Enterprise™ Solution modules are characterized by the highest levels of quality, functionality and ease of use for small to medium size operations as well as departments and divisions of larger companies. X-Enterprise™ is a fully integrated business software solution that provides complete control over the planning and management of all facets of business including purchasing, costing, allocation, replenishment, distribution, consignment, wholesale, and warehouse operations in a variety of industries. The software extends control throughout the price, performance, and functionality that assists companies in furthering their Supply Chain Control to achieve greater efficiency. X-Enterprise™ Solution optimizes the management capabilities of manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

X-Enterprise™ is the headquarters system, used to monitor and control all the front-

end or the point-of-sale (POS) system, which could be either X-Retail™ or X-Diner™. X-Retail™ is the POS system for retail environment, and X-Diner™ is the POS system for food & beverage (F&B) environment, and both are tightly integrated to X-Enterprise™. The control between the headquarters and outlets can be either in real-time mode or in batch modes. This is dependent on the infrastructure the company has i.e., availability of broadband and/or VPN (virtual private network).

All master data such as product details, user access rights, locations details, POS terminal details and etc. are maintained and setup in X-Enterprise™, and these master data or master settings will be sent via the infrastructure available to the respective outlets that have the POS software installed, and these POS software will behave according to all settings defined by headquarters

users. The rest of the chapters in this user guide will explain the benefits of all the modules available in X-Enterprise™ and how end-users could use the functions and buttons provided.

Allowing flexible integration with X-Retail and X-Diner, it completes the ideal business model in managing the back-office applications: - Supply-chain management (manage warehouses, inventory at stores and distributions centres, support multi-channel environments, namely Outright Purchase, Consignment, Wholesale, Franchisee etc) - Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Membership Management - Financial reporting - Human resource management - Security control

System Limitations:

Due to Visual FoxPro language is outdated, forms are easily corrupted and hard to maintain

Main menu are not user-friendly

Hard to integrate with some hardware (eg: barcode printer)
