This coffee shop has been operating at the Sumpit Railu'ay Station since 1938. Coflee,half-boiled eggs and toasted bread have been the staple fbod of passengers u'ho alightedand others who waited to board the trains. Home-made kaya is the speciality here.

Toasted bun has also now been introduced into the menu. The shop is cunently run by

Dragon Fruit OrchardRed or white, succulent dragon fruits are a wonder. Farmers do not have to water them

They are simply delicious to eat as a dessert; rich in vitamins and minerals. Nowadays,

the ffuits are relatively cheap too. And there is, of course. the delicious dragon fruit cake

to savour.Thunder Mountains

Two mountains are worthy of mention at this place. One is Gunung Lembing, the

the Sempadan Range in Malaysia. The peak is an easy climb for those who like outdoor

adventure. The other mountain is Gunung Selimut, where one can enjoy a swim at the

waterfalls. Of course, there is a resort and a playground at the foot of the mountain as well.

Questions 26 - 3l are based on the following passage.

I One day, towards the end of my form four, a mistakc happcned. It made onedream come true for a student who did not deserve it. That student was me.

2 My class teacher, Miss Jing, asked me to come to her office. She had a verykind face and her voice sounded like music. She touched my arrn and adjustedthe collar of my shin. i

3 "You have been chosen , " sa id M iss J ing , " t o rece i ' , e t he p r i nc ipa l ' s

scholanhip."4 To me this sounded like a trip to dreamland. I could not say a word. The

scholarship was a great honour for every school student. This was because onlyone s tuden t f rom each c lass was se lec ted and vou had to sco re i n bo th I0examinations of the year.

5 "What mark did I get?" I asked.

6 "94 over 100," replied Miss Jing. "The same result as Rahman."

7 My face went red. Everybody knew that Rahman was the top student inform four of our Secondary school. In fact, he was the top student in the 15Peni la ian Menengah Rendah examinat ion. Unl ike me, he was so smart ,diligent and well-behaved, that he always got the scholarship. How could Iever rank with him? Something must have gone wrong dur ing the markingprocess. My teachers had never realised how I struggled with my homeworkwhile Rahman always did it with ease. It was I who sometimes came late for 20class while Rahman was forever cn time. I teased my classmates during breaktime while Rahman was often reading quietly in a corner. I got easily distractedduring lessoris while Rahman was constantly focused. Perhaps Miss Jing hadmistakcn me for Rahman.

8 "You can go now," Miss Jing patted my arm again. "I will send a letter to 2Jinform your parents of your achievement."

9 From that moment on, I was airaid that Miss Jing would discover the truth aboutme and take back the scholarship. I began to t ry very hard to change myways. I tried to come to class on time. I took care not to miss my homework. Iworked harder on my assignments. I refrained from bul ly ing my fr iends. As 30the next school year came. I real ised that I had slowiy t ransformed into adifferent person and had become what Miss Jing had believed I was. Before Iknew it, I completed my form five and left school. A year later, I was acceptedinto a college to pursue a diploma course.

l0 Three years after that, I received another scholarship that enabled me to take JJup a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies. Oi- ,e day, my mother camc andvisi ted me.
