Pengurusan kelas berkesan dan mengikut rutin. Komunikasi yang jelas dan bersesuaian dengan umur murid. Guru menguasai isi kandungan untuk menyampaikan pengajarannya. Hasil pembelajaran sesuai ditakrifkan. Hasil pembelajaran jelas diterangkan kepada pelajar. Kriteria hasil pembelajaran dicapai diterangkan. Rancangan pengajaran dibuat sebelum kelas dan sedia ada. Guru harus membuat kesimpulan pengajaran pada penghujung kelas. Mengenal pasti masalah atau isu-isu. Menakrifan tindakan susulan. 5. ACTIVITY TIME! 7. LISTENING AND SPEAKING 8. Activity 1 Song listening Teacher needs to listen to the song and fill in the blanks. Teacher guess the category for the vocabulary. Activity 2 Draw the suspect In group, teacher will complete a task. The task require group organization on the roles of each group members. One teacher will act as a policeman, and the rest will be the witnesses. The witnesses need to describe the aliens face, using the sentence patterns given in the worksheet. 9. READING 10. Activity 1 Sequencing a text Teacher will be given a reading text each. After silent reading, teacher will grab a goodie bag containing sentence strips. In group, teacher needs to take turn taking out the sentence strips and sequence in order. Activity 2 Understanding a text Teacher is given a piece of A4 paper. Based on the sentence strip, teacher needs to draw the pictures based on understanding. All the pictures from the group are compiled into a book. (In the classroom, teacher can place the book at the English Corner for independent reading) 11. WRITING 12. Activity 1 We will write a short story. Teacher will be given a coloured blank sheet of paper. The activity is in group therefore each teacher will get different colour If the group has 5 members, each will be given a task. Member 1: Draw the main character. Member 2: Draw the setting. Member 3: Draw the problem. Member 4: Draw the problem getting worse. Member 5: Draw character solving problem. Then the pictures will be arrange in line and group can discuss to complete their story. 13. REFLECTION 14. Teacher needs to reflect on: The activities done. The viability of the ideas in the classroom The arrangement of tasks in a group work. Teacher needs to suggest at least one room for improvement for each of the activities done. 15. THANK YOU
